ESSG is seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive with proven success in B2B consultative selling, particularly within the staffing industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities, build long-term relationships with staffing agency owners and executives, and deliver value-driven solutions that help them streamline operations, reduce risk, and improve profitability. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of sales expertise, industry knowledge, financial acumen, accountability, and strong working knowledge of Work Comp, Safety, Compliance, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and related technology to ensure seamless integration of ESSGs services into client operations. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales: Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with privately owned and regional staffing agencies; utilize a consultative selling approach to uncover client needs and recommend ESSG7s suite of services; generate leads using multiple channels, including networking, referrals, social media, CRM tools, cold calling, and industry events. Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with staffing agency owners, executives, and decision-makers; conduct regular client meetings to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify additional opportunities for service expansion. Financial & Business Acumen: Understand and articulate business finance concepts, including P&L analysis, gross profit, and gross margin calculations; structure proposals and pricing strategies that maximize profitability for ESSG while delivering measurable value to the client; assess the cost structures of staffing agencies to develop competitive, solutions-based offerings. Operational Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, implementation, and delivery of services; leverage internal systems and processes, including ATS, to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency; maintain accurate, timely, and detailed documentation of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress within the CRM; consistently track, measure, and report sales performance against established KPIs; demonstrate personal accountability for meeting revenue targets and following through on commitments; utilize multiple software platforms (CRM, ATS, and productivity tools) to manage sales activities and client information. Proposal Development: Develop tailored proposals and client-specific presentation materials with competitive cost structures and solutions-based offerings. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in the staffing industry in a sales or combined sales/operations capacity. Demonstrated success in consultative selling with measurable revenue growth results. Strong understanding of Work Comp, Safety, and Compliance within the staffing industry. Strong understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM platforms, and related staffing technology. Strong understanding of P&L statements, gross margin, and gross profit calculations. Experience structuring and pricing solutions for the staffing industry. Proven ability to develop leads from scratch using multiple prospecting methods. Exceptional communication skillsboth written and verbalwith the ability to present to all levels of an organization. High personal accountability with a track record of consistent documentation and reporting. Strong ability to utilize Canva or PowerPoint to develop tailored, client-specific solutions and presentations. Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently while contributing to team goals.
