Job Description
Your Responsibilities:
As a member of our Core Infrastructure team reporting to the Core Infrastructure Manager, you will contribute to our transformation from a monolithic architecture to a microservices architecture. You will support infrastructure both in our private and public cloud data centers. You will help improve the reliability and delivery of our product through automation and auto remediation. Your experience with a well-maintained environment will guide you to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and sustainably. You will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. The Essentials - You Will Have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available). Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
Typically 5+ years managing private and public cloud infrastructure. Experience building automated solutions for deployment and scalability. Ability to analyze packet captures using tools such as Wireshark. Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services. Familiarity with open source technologies and cloud services like Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible. Experience with Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and storage solutions like Dell PowerMax, NetApp, Pure Storage, Cloudian. Knowledge of storage protocols (FC, iSCSI, S3), Active Directory, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python), and network protocols. Experience with monitoring tools and security remediations. Familiarity with escalation management and project tracking systems.
