Job Description Your Responsibilities: As a member of our Core Infrastructure team reporting to the Core Infrastructure Manager, you will contribute to our transformation from a monolithic architecture to a microservices architecture. You will support infrastructure both in our private and public cloud data centers. You will help improve the reliability and delivery of our product through the use of automation and auto-remediation. Your experience with a well-maintained environment will guide you to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and sustainably. You will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. The Essentials - You Will Have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available). Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Typically requires 5+ years managing private and public cloud infrastructure. Proven experience building automated solutions for rapid deployment and scalability. Ability to analyze packet captures using tools like Wireshark. Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services. Experience with open source technologies and cloud services such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible. Knowledge of Server Operating Systems (Windows Server, Linux), Hypervisors (VMware), backup applications (Veeam), and storage solutions (Dell PowerMax, NetApp, etc.). Understanding of storage protocols (FC, iSCSI, S3), Active Directory automation, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python), networking protocols (IPv4/IPv6, FTP, HTTP, SSL/TLS), and monitoring tools (Elastic, PRTG, etc.). Experience with security remediations, escalation management systems like OpsGenie, PagerDuty, and work tracking tools such as ServiceNow or Jira. Ability to develop project plans and execute tasks accordingly.
