Responsibilities
Manage the company's banking relationships, including negotiating interest rates and bank fees.
Manage the company's banking activities, including the allocation of deposit balances and account structures.
Oversee the opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts.
Develop reports to assist with monitoring and managing the company's liquidity and key cash management metrics.
Lead and enhance internal processes to drive operational efficiency and ensure compliance with policies, controls, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and monitor treasury operational policies.
Monitor and implement new bank technologies, products, and services.
Identify opportunities and implement treasury-related business process improvements.
Support special projects and acquisitions.
Troubleshoot daily transaction issues.
Support internal business partners effectively.
Lead treasury system implementations and projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing financial systems.
Lead and mentor a treasury team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with operational leaders and executives to provide financial insights and analysis.
Design and implement processes to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency.
Drive technology initiatives to automate treasury operations, resulting in cost savings.
Work with finance and accounting teams on treasury economics, including analysis of actuals, forecasts, and budgets.
Create and maintain financial models using advanced Excel skills.
Analyze financial data to provide insights into liquidity and capital management, supporting strategic planning.
Ensure compliance with investor and agency guidelines, NACHA standards, and standards for funds movements.
Qualifications
Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of demonstrated experience.
Experience in title, escrow, and banking industries preferred.
Experience managing in a highly regulated environment.
CTP certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Treasury knowledge.
Experience with banking, title, and escrow.
Knowledge of banking systems.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong analytical, financial, and system skills, including advanced Excel skills.
Proven team management and leadership skills.
Understanding of mortgage servicing software and funds processes.
Knowledge of investor and agency guidelines.
Familiarity with treasury systems and NACHA standards.
Job Complexities
Works on complex problems requiring significant originality and in-depth evaluation. Exercises judgment within broad policies. Transaction issues are time-sensitive.
Supervision
Works independently; may manage up to 5 direct reports.
Impact
Decisions significantly impact the company's financial position and operations. Responsible for final decisions on operational matters affecting other departments and external customers.
The pay range for this role is $131,800.00 - $175,750.00. The actual pay depends on factors like experience, skills, and location.
