Responsible for the planning and execution of day-to-day and period-end Treasury activities including managing the company's banking relationships and activities, identifying cost-saving and profit-maximizing opportunities, and ensuring compliance with company, department, and audit standards to maximize the protection of the company's cash assets.

Partners with the Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer to create the vision, strategy, and standards by which the Treasury department provides leadership and value to the organization. This critical role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

Manage the company's banking relationships, including negotiating interest rates and bank fees.

Manage the company's banking activities, including the allocation of deposit balances and account structures.

Oversee the opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts.

Develop reports to assist with monitoring and managing the company's liquidity and key cash management operating metrics.

Lead and enhance internal processes to drive operational efficiency and ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Develop and monitor treasury operational policies.

Monitor and implement new bank technologies, products, and services.

Identify opportunities and implement treasury-related business process improvements.

Support special projects and acquisitions.

Troubleshoot daily transaction issues.

Work effectively with and support internal business partners.

Lead treasury system implementations and associated projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing financial systems.

Lead and mentor a high-performing treasury team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with operational leaders and executives to provide financial insights and analysis that drive business performance.

Design and implement robust processes and procedures to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency.

Drive technology initiatives aimed at automating treasury operations, resulting in bottom-line expense savings.

Collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams on treasury-related economics, ensuring accurate analysis of actuals, forecasts, projections, and budgets.

Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and maintain financial models, conduct cash flow analysis, and support decision-making processes.

Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights into liquidity and capital management and support strategic planning initiatives.

Ensure compliance with investor and agency guidelines and standards, as well as familiarity with NACHA standards in the management of funds movements.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

Bachelor's degree (Advanced degree preferred)

10+ years demonstrated experience

Title, escrow, and banking industry experience preferred

Experience managing and operating in a highly regulated environment

CTP certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

Treasury knowledge

Experience with or exposure to banking, title, and escrow

Knowledge of banking systems

Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers and business partners

Strong analytical, financial, and system skills, including advanced MS Excel skills

Proven track record of managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment

Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and forecasting techniques

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial planning, and analysis

Extensive experience with mortgage servicing software and familiarity with mortgage servicing funds movements and processes

Knowledge of investor and agency guidelines and standards relevant to mortgage servicing operations

Familiarity with treasury management systems and NACHA standards for electronic payments

* Erroneous decisions could significantly impact the company's financial position and operations due to large deposit balances managed by Treasury.

* Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operational objectives are met.

* Responsible for decisions and activities impacting other departments and external customers.

The pay range for this role is $131,800.00 - $175,750.00. This hiring range is an estimate of the base pay at posting. Pay depends on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, and location.
