Embedded Software Engineer

to help bring their reentry vehicles and space-based platforms to life. In this role, youll develop deeply reliable flight software that controls how the spacecraft behavesfrom orbit to reentry. Youll work across the full development lifecycle: capturing requirements, architecting real-time systems, writing C++ for bare metal, RTOS, or Linux environments, and validating mission-critical code for safety and performance. Core Requirements

Proficiency in

C++

and experience with real-time or embedded systems

Minimum

3 years

of hands-on software development experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Comfortable writing structured, hardware-near software (bare metal, RTOS, or Linux)

Able to define software architecture and own systems from design to flight

Preferred Experience

Developing or testing

flight software

or

safety-critical aerospace systems

Familiarity with

V&V techniques

and real-time operating constraints

Deep understanding of

computer architecture ,

networks , and

OS fundamentals

A solid base in

math and physics

Passion for space, autonomy, and pushing the frontier of what software can do
