Overview
The Senior Managing Consultant, Services Business Development, Cyber Threat Intelligence leads the growth of Mastercard’s Threat Intelligence business within the NAM Services segment. You will be the P&L owner for Threat Intelligence and related services, driving revenue through direct sales and cross-functional collaboration to maximize sales for Threat Intelligence products and services, including existing offerings and new synergy products under development. The North American Services Team is part of Mastercard’s global services organization. Services expand Mastercard’s client offerings across cybersecurity, payment optimization, Identity services, consulting and more. Mastercard has strengthened its Cyber Threat Intelligence capabilities through strategic acquisitions to offer advanced cyber risk assessment, real-time threat detection, consulting and risk simulation services to safeguard clients’ digital footprints. About The Role
The Senior Managing Consultant will grow Mastercard’s Threat Intelligence business in one of our key Services segments (Merchants & Acquirers, Traditional FIs, FinTechs & Digital Platforms). As the P&L owner for Threat Intelligence and related Services, you will contribute to strategic direction and commercial success, driving revenue through direct sales and by coordinating with customer-facing teams to maximize sales for Threat Intelligence products and services. This includes accelerating sales of existing Cyber Threat Intelligence products and launching go-to-market and sales processes for new synergy products in development. Responsibilities
Deliver on Cyber Threat Intelligence revenue and sales targets. Drive sales of acquired and natively developed (synergy) Threat Intelligence solutions, and complimentary services, independently or with cross-functional teams. Emphasize solution selling across a wide range of related products and services. Define and oversee the GTM operating model for the segment to ensure appropriate expertise and skills are deployed against opportunities. Unify sales and business development teams under a single Mastercard Cyber Threat Intelligence narrative and sales process. Coordinate internal execution across teams. Facilitate key client introductions across businesses (cross-sell and on-sell of additional Cyber Threat Intelligence solutions to Mastercard managed accounts and existing customers). Refer prospects to Recorded Future & Risk Recon for Mastercard managed accounts. Develop and activate broader Services sales organization for priority initiatives and Threat Intelligence campaigns (sales collateral, pitch decks, training, pipeline visibility). Align product, sales, customer success and marketing teams around launches and revenue goals as needed. Identify issues, take improvement actions and communicate progress. Report on commercial integration progress and track lead funnel health and conversion efficiency; advise on integration risks. Success will be measured by sales performance, client impact, and contribution to expanding Mastercard’s Cyber Threat Intelligence solutions. Required Qualifications
Business Development and Industry Experience
Bachelors Degree and 10+ years’ work experience, including time spent in technology (SaaS) sales with team or stakeholder management responsibility. Industry savvy with an understanding of emerging cyber trends and ability to leverage market opportunities creatively. Experience selling security services, consulting and/or technologies such as cyber threat intelligence, security awareness and training, cloud security, incident response management, third party risk management, threat and vulnerability management. Proven enterprise sales experience, selling into Merchants & Acquirers, Traditional FIs, FinTechs or Digital Platforms. Demonstrated history of individual and/or team quota achievement. Diverse Stakeholder Management, Communication, and Teamwork
Excellent client relationship management with a track record of strategic selling. Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and aligning diverse stakeholders toward common goals. Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences clearly. Executive presence and communication skills, including executive-level communications and influencing others. Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly to evolving priorities and market dynamics. Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed tactical execution to drive client impact and quick decision-making. Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to think creatively to identify new ways to innovate. Compensation and Benefits
