Administrative Assistant II - Faribault Middle School
Faribault Middle School is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant II to start immediately. The salary for this position starts at $25.80 per hour with a competitive benefits package including full single health and dental insurance. Essential Functions:
The Administrative Assistant II, 8 hours per day, (7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.), five (5) days per week, 245 days per year at the Faribault Middle School. Admin is responsible for providing positive student services support and to facilitate communications for an extensive Student Services Department. To coordinate, manage, and implement student and staff services to the Faribault Public School District, #656. Also, provide customer service for an extensive number of students, staff, parents, and the public.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not all inclusive) Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students, staff, families, and community members Work collaboratively with the Faribault Middle School staff, including administration, counseling, FACES, and other clerical staff Record daily attendance via Infinite Campus and communicate with staff and families regarding student attendance Assist families and administration with student enrollment, including: registration, withdrawals, homebound/shared student registration and monitoring, communicating with staff, and transcript/student records requests Interact with families, staff, and community via phone, email, voicemail, and face-to-face interactions, assisting to direct information to appropriate parties Monitor mainline voicemail and fax mailbox Schedule and process building reservations in ELEYO system Maintain files and records with confidential information, including creation and maintenance of cumulative folders and student database upkeep Prepare written materials and reports including DIRS and MARSS reporting Attend and assist with event planning for students, families, and staff (schedule distribution, open house, registration events, etc.) Prepare, edit, and translate published and communication materials (ex. honor roll) Coordinate student picture day Assign student lockers, maintain locker database, year-end lock collection Assist with Administrative Assistant I duties as needed Other administrative and clerical duties as needed and assigned

AA/S Degree in business administration, office administration, office management, or related fields Previous clerical experience Familiarity with Google Suite and Infinite Campus
