Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to be the front facing first point of contact to provide detailed procedural information and assistance to internal and external customers while providing friendly, accurate, and timely information on issues related to Financial Aid, Records and Registration, student accounts, general college knowledge, Admissions and Accounting and Fees. This includes lead administrative and processing duties in said areas. All functions performed while acting as liaisons to Student Affairs and Academic Affairs, through face-to-face, telephone, email, and chat interactions.
Minimum Qualifications
English sufficient to answer diverse questions and/or refer customers to appropriate assistance. Experience working in a database, sufficient to perform the duties of the position. Customer Service skills sufficient to interact with others to accurately convey policies and information to clients in person, on the phone, and through e-mail and other written correspondence. (common courtesy, tact, interest in positive problem resolution, empathy and logical organization of ideas). Proficiency using Microsoft Office products or equivalent software, sufficient to produce memos and correspondence in an efficient and timely manner. Data entry skills sufficient to read, receive and review source documents, compare documents to database information and edit, code, and correct as identified. Preferred Qualification
Experience working in higher education or a community college setting. Experience with a CRM software like EAB Navigate and Campus Management. Experience with ISRS and/or Perceptive Content. Knowledge of or experience in some or all of the following: Admission, Financial Aid, Registration and Records processes and procedures. Ability to work, multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with diverse populations. Maintain the confidentiality of private information according to law, rules, policies and procedures. Research a variety of topics and summarize information into clear and concise answers.
