JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Toppenish, WA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: October 1, 2025 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Physician 7a 7p; 7p 7a APP 12p 12a PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census: 21,700 annual ED visits Case Mix: Acute Care Emergency Medicine FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 8 ED Beds No. of Beds in Facility: 63 EMR System: Cerner Specialty Backup Available: Imaging, Radiology, Ultrasound, Glidescope Support Staff Available: Nurse practitioners and physician assistants during peak hours Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Emergency stabilization and acute care procedures Ultrasound-guided interventions Airway management with Glidescope JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active WA medical license (credentialing can begin while in process) Board: BC in ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, AOBEM, or osteopathic counterparts; NBPAS accepted DEA: Active DEA with WA address Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS Experience: Minimum 3 years of current EM experience (FM accepted with requirement met) Other Qualifications: CME past 2 years, case logs past 2 years, QFT TB test, drug panel, immunizations (flu & COVID attestation), EMR training prior to first shift
