A school-based social worker position is available in Naperville, IL, serving K-12 students across a full school year contract. This role focuses on supporting students social, emotional, and behavioral needs within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans. Conduct assessments and develop case plans to support students facing issues such as bullying, trauma, and family difficulties. Connect students and families to community resources and services as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate student support. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements. Qualifications and Experience: Licensure or certification as a social worker in Illinois. Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school setting. Knowledge of K-12 educational systems and community resources. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with crisis intervention and behavior management techniques.
