Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to elementary students (TK-5) to support developmental and functional skills Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Conduct assessments and document student progress according to school and regulatory guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations Maintain compliance with state and federal special education laws Adapt therapy approaches for diverse learning needs and environments Qualifications and Experience: ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy credential required Experience working with elementary-aged children (TK-5) preferred Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and caseload management Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with school personnel and families Ability to deliver services onsite in compliance with current health and safety guidelines Location and Schedule: Position is onsite in Hayward, California (ZIP Code 94563) Part-time, 18-20 hours weekly Contract begins August 8, 2025, and concludes May 29, 2026 Additional Details: Caseload size approximately 22 students This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the developmental success of young learners in an educational environment.
