A permanent position is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher to serve a middle school caseload for the 2025-2026 school year. This role requires an Education Specialist with a Mild/Moderate credential, dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs in an in-person classroom setting. The position operates on a typical school day schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with mild to moderate disabilities. Provide direct instruction and support to middle school students in an inclusive classroom environment. Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with staff and families to promote student success. Employ effective classroom management strategies while fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Participate in educational team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives for special education services. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Mild/Moderate Education Specialist credential. Previous experience teaching special education at the middle school level. Strong knowledge of state and federal special education regulations and best practices. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and family members. Commitment to in-person teaching and student engagement.
