A Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 school in Sacramento, CA. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of up to 12 students with moderate to severe special needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure inclusive classroom environments Provide direct instruction and behavioral support to meet individual student needs Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports for compliance and reporting purposes Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for support Qualifications: Valid Moderate/Severe Special Education teaching license Experience working with TK-12 students or adult transition populations in special education settings Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavior intervention techniques Ability to manage small caseloads effectively and create individualized learning plans Excellent communication and collaboration skills Location: Sacramento, California This role offers the opportunity to impact student success by providing specialized instruction and support to individuals with significant learning challenges.
