School Level: Elementary Contract Duration: August 25 June 19 Work Hours: 8:30 AM 3:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs in grades K-4. Provide therapeutic support and classroom management tailored to each student's unique requirements. Collaborate with related service providers, therapists, and general education teachers to integrate services and foster student success. Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with families and school staff. Utilize specialized instructional strategies to promote social, emotional, and academic growth. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for elementary levels (K-4). Experience working in substantially separate classrooms or therapeutic settings. Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
