A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for the 2025-2026 school year to support a K-12 educational setting serving students in Sterling Heights, MI. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload spanning early childhood through high school.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy to students aged 3-5 in a walk-in speech program
Deliver SLP services to middle and high school students
Manage and maintain a caseload of approximately 35 students (subject to change)
Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication goals
Participate in assessment, treatment planning, and progress monitoring
Qualifications:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology
Background working in healthcare or school settings preferred
Ability to work up to 30 hours per week; part-time arrangements may be considered
Strong communication and organizational skills
Flexibility and dedication to student progress
