Job Description
The Catalog Data Specialist is responsible for establishing processes and performing validations that ensure data integrity and normalization of catalog content. This position will provide catalog data for missing coverage, product data for standards compliance, and validation reports requested by customers. It supports the Catalog Team to ensure our customers receive the highest quality data content.
Responsibilities
- Research and collect OE Data application and part information.
- Identify OE samples that need to be purchased.
- Validate catalog and product content data.
- Maintain status reports documenting data collection progress.
- Assist in proofing catalog, data, and application information for quality assurance.
- Develop processes to ensure data integrity and normalization.
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Support monthly content data delivery to e-cats and customers.
- Update internal systems with customer vehicle or application data.
- Coordinate with the catalog manager on schedules.
- Review E-Cats and customer websites for accuracy.
- Address catalog discrepancies submitted by customers.
- Develop specialized market catalogs to support sales.
- Manage image workflow from receipt to submission.
- Collaborate with other departments on image processing.
- Perform other assigned responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in automotive aftermarket catalog content.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience managing projects and teams.
- Experience mapping application data and maintaining proprietary data routing.
- Knowledge of PIES data and automotive parts.
- At least 2 years’ experience in automotive catalog or parts analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and image processing tools is a plus.
