Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Receptionist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana on a contract basis. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who excels in administrative tasks and customer service. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. This is an on-site position, 7:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday and will be contract for about 1 month.
Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
• Prepare, type, and format letters and other documents as needed.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail while organizing outgoing correspondence.
• Process daily check deposits and reconcile credit card statements by collecting and verifying receipts.
• Assist in obtaining credit references for new customers and input their details into the company database.
• Maintain accurate filing systems to keep records organized and accessible.
• Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in administrative or office roles is preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service abilities and communication skills.
• Familiarity with handling multi-line phone systems is advantageous.
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
