Responsibilities

  • Receptionist duties including greeting visitors and directing them to appropriate staff
  • Answering the phone and routing calls appropriately
  • Schedule and confirm new and returning patient appointments
  • Minimize cancellations and empty appointment slots
  • Collect co-pays and assist with patient insurance and privacy forms
  • Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence
  • Educate patients about insurance and how physical therapy treatment plans work
  • Assist with physical therapy aide duties when applicable

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Prior medical office or customer service experience preferred
