Job Title: FOOD SERVICE WORKER | WEEKLY PAY
Job Description
Join our team as a Food Service Worker, working in a dynamic hospital kitchen that serves over 700 guests daily. This role requires a self-starter with experience in fast-paced restaurant environments. You will be working in an isolated area and must be able to follow directions well.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook large batches of food, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Engage in food preparation activities, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
Provide excellent customer service, handling interactions with patients and guests professionally.
Adapt to working in an isolated area, following directions accurately.
Essential Skills
1.5+ years of experience in large batch cooking.
1.5+ years of experience in food preparation.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to lift 50lbs and push 100lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in hospitality and restaurant settings.
Ability to work with difficult people and be aware of patient situations.

Work Environment
The role is set within a hospital cafeteria, emphasizing the importance of appearance and hygiene. The culture mandates no facial piercings, covered tattoos, and no heavy fragrances. Dress code includes black work pants, non-slip shoes, hospital T-shirts, and a collared black or white shirt on the first day. Shifts are 8 hours long, scheduled between 5 AM and 9 PM, with a Monday-Friday schedule and rotating weekends.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.10 - $15.10/hr.
