Why you should apply to be an Avionics/Electric Technician II: Opportunity to work with a reputable aerospace company Convenient 8 working hours per day: First Shift 4:50 AM - 3:30 PM Current pay rate is $32.19/hr What's a typical day as an Avionics/Electric Technician II: Demonstrate technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting. Perform installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems per engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals. Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations; troubleshoot systems to provide timely and accurate repairs. Repair or replace defective components and wiring using approved methods such as splicing, soldering, and pinning. Perform and comply with engineering changes and modifications as required. Set up and operate test equipment; conduct functional and operational tests to verify performance and reliability. Ensure all work performed is properly documented and inspection-ready. Test and maintain electronic systems, components, and related test equipment. Comply with company programs such as FOD, tool control, 5S, and safety regulations. Adapt effectively to sudden schedule changes. Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, which may include flight tests. Perform other duties as assigned. This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: High School Diploma or GED required. Four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics plus two (2) years related experience. A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred. FCC license preferred. NCATT certification preferred. Preferred proficiency in troubleshooting additional aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural installations/repairs. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
