Shift Hours are Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 6 AM - 6 PM What You Will Do: The Materials Analyst will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule while managing a team of hourly employees. The Materials Analyst will work closely with operations, supply chain, engineering, and quality to ensure assembly and test requirements are fully supported. Coordinate material kitting in support of assembly floor need, working closely with the on-campus Forward Stocking Location (FSL) and remote warehouses. Utilize Lean principles to establish world-class Materials Flow/Synchronization within the value stream. Support shortage management process Oversee materials/logistics issues. Coordinate with Engine and Module Assembly to ensure parts are available when needed. Participate in making allocation/priority decisions on critical hardware. Utilize/operate Andon system in support of assembly floor requirements. Support efforts to drive cost & lead time reductions. Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing operations, materials planning/materials management, supply chain/logistics, inventory management, or closely related industrial environment or a Master's degree and minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing operations, materials planning/materials management, supply chain/logistics, inventory management, or closely related industrial environment Experience with Enterprise Planning Resource (ERP) and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software Experience with Microsoft office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract Qualifications We Prefer: SAP Experience in continuous improvement processes Project management experience Learn More & Apply Now: In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work.
