Production Supervisor - 2nd & 3rd Shift Openings Location: Grant, MI Our client is seeking experienced Production Supervisors to lead and support their manufacturing teams in a fast-paced production environment. This role ensures that products are manufactured to meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. The Production Supervisor will provide leadership, training, and problem-solving support to the production team, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency. If you're a hands-on leader with a passion for coaching and developing teams, this opportunity is for you! 2nd and 3rd shift openings Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead production teams to meet performance goals in safety, quality, and productivity. Ensure standardized work processes are followed and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Coach and train team members using job instruction methods; maintain training records. Monitor production schedules and adjust priorities to meet customer demands. Provide first response to production issues, troubleshooting problems and implementing corrective actions. Track and report on team performance, including efficiency, downtime, and scrap. Perform quality checks, analyze defects, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain proper staffing levels and oversee employee performance, attendance, and development. Ensure compliance with company safety policies, conduct safety inspections, and lead incident investigations. Support and implement 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to employees. Maintain accurate end-of-shift reports summarizing key production activities and concerns. Qualifications & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred. 3+ years of experience in a production supervisory role. 3+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment Proficiency in basic computer skills and ability to interpret production data.
