Warehouse Manager

to join our team and manage operations in Northbrook, IL. This professional multitasker will manage and oversee our pick pack facility which includes receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn. A working manager that understands and can execute warehouse projects. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. You must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and track shipping times, ultimately overseeing the fulfillment of all orders. What Your Impact Will Be: Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees. Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping. Review and prepare workflow, personnel requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with freight partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages. Full and accurate utilization of ERP and logistic software platforms. Calculate and manage key KPI metrics including pick errors, employee tasks statistics, inventory adjustment and shipping costs.

Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.

Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals. Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service. Meet the workforce demands of the warehouse by maintaining team schedules and minimizing overtime. Meet regularly with warehouse supervisor and leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention. Order all packaging and shipping materials, negotiate cost rates, and maintain contracts Facilitate all building maintenance needs including coordinating with third party service providers for Northbrook, IL warehouse & office building Other duties ass assigned.

What We’re Looking For: 5+ years’ experience in a warehouse management role managing hourly employees. Hands on, working manager in receiving, picking and packing. Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy. Expertise in project management and Microsoft Office Ability to handle spreadsheets. Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities. Ability to work with all levels of company staff. Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred but not required. NetSuite or RF Smart WMS preferred. Other duties as assigned.
