ModCorr offers rapid, efficient delivery and setup of minimum to maximum security correctional facilities and specialty units. All products are constructed offsite in a controlled environment and conform to the same building codes as traditional construction. ModCorr’s safe, secure and high-quality units comply with all American Correctional Association (ACA) and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
The Materials Handler is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials throughout the manufacturing and warehouse environment. This position ensures that parts, products, and supplies are properly received, stored, documented, and delivered to support ongoing production and construction operations. The Materials Handler plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, job readiness, and a clean, safe work environment.
This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and works closely with supervisors, project managers, and other team members across departments. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Load and unload materials from warehouse, suppliers, and jobsite deliveries. Verify materials against invoices, delivery tickets, and job requirements for accuracy. Maintain traceability and accurate documentation for all incoming and outgoing materials. Transfer parts and products between departments using pallet jacks, forklifts, and dollies. Perform cycle counts and support inventory control efforts to maintain accuracy. Notify supervisor of any quality, safety, or production issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Adhere to all departmental and company-wide safety and procedural policies. Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute ideas for efficiency. Competencies

Knowledge and Skills Required
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing preferred. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete routine paperwork and correspondence. Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks under deadlines. Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram instructions and resolve common issues. Basic knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Certified Forklift Operator preferred (or able to obtain within 90 days). Physical Demands: Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity. Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands. Must have vision abilities including color, close, distance, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Occasional lifting (up to 40 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying. Quantitative/mathematical
ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, standard measurements). Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts and travel if required. Ability to operate forklifts, mechanized devices, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively. Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts. Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions and outdoor environments. Noise level is typically moderate.
