Who We Are FedUp Foods, one of the nation's early producers of kombucha through the Buchi brand, is one of the largest functional beverage manufacturers in America. We provide a diverse portfolio of organic, private-label functional beverages for top global retailers. Position Summary The Sanitor is responsible for routine cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, warehouse, support spaces, and outdoor premises. This role helps maintain compliance with food safety standards and ensures a clean, safe facility. Schedule - 9:00 pm - 5:30 am (Monday - Friday) An ideal candidate will be punctual, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment. General
Duties/Responsibilities Maintain the facility in compliance with GMPs, SSOPs, and food safety standards.
Clean and sanitize processing equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings per the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, foamers, vacuums, and CIP systems.
Rinse, foam, scrub, and sanitize production equipment, including
disassembly/reassembly
when needed.
Inspect equipment, complete sanitation checklists, and work with pre-operational inspectors for line release.
Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure internal parts are cleaned.
Document cleaning activities as required by the MSS.
Use chemicals safely, following labels, PPE requirements, and titration procedures.
Keep tools and work areas neat and organized.
Perform self-inspections and other duties as assigned.
Food Safety & Quality Responsibilities Follow GMP policy and encourage others to do the same.
Understand SQF policies on pest control, visitors, allergens, and sanitation.
Support company food safety and quality commitments.
Report food safety/quality issues to QA for corrective action and continuous improvement.
Required Skills/Abilities English communication skills (written and verbal).
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to read and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Strong attention to detail, self-directed, and motivated.
Problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with positive attitude and reliable attendance.
Willingness to follow safety procedures with moving machinery and chemicals.
Education & Experience High school diploma or GED.
1 year of sanitation experience preferred.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and food safety practices a plus.

Environment/Physical
Requirements 30-minute unpaid lunch; two paid 15-minute breaks.
Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
Exposure to chemical solutions with safety protocols required.
Repetitive tasks: standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, crouching, climbing stairs/ladders.
Ability to work at heights (scissor lift or ladder).
Work in cold environments (cooler/freezer cleaning).
Dependable transportation required.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
