Our customer in Montgomery, Illinois is looking for motivated individuals to join their growing team as
Lathe Machinists . This is a full-time, 1st shift opportunity where you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and precision.
Responsibilities of the
Lathe Machinist
:
Set up and operate lathe machines for precision machining. Read blueprints and follow work instructions to meet specifications. Inspect parts using measuring tools like micrometers and calipers. Adjust machine settings for optimal performance and accuracy. Maintain and troubleshoot machines to ensure proper operation. Lathe Machinist
Requirements and Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of machining practices Have mechanical aptitude and be able to read blue prints. Follow work instructions including set/up guidelines and routing documents. Possess basic mathematical skills. Be familiar with various gages and micrometers Basic knowledge of G and M code. Pay for

Starting at $23/hour.
