Quality Check Technician
: Sterling
, Illinois
Our customer in Sterling, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Quality Check Technicians to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Quality Check Technician, you will be responsible for measuring products, ensuring production standards are met, reporting inspection results, and recommending process improvements. You will also prepare inspection plans, train workers, and evaluate quality costs.
Responsibilities of the
Quality Check Technician
:
Interpret product drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production. Monitor operations to ensure production standards are met and suggest improvements. Measure products using rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. Report inspection results, test data, and performance metrics. Prepare inspection plans and train workers on proper procedures. Evaluate quality costs and make recommendations for process improvements. Quality Check Technician
Requirements and Qualifications:
Steel-toed shoes required for safety. Must pass a 4-panel drug test. No CF (Chronic Fatigue) issues due to physical demands. 5-7 years of relevant experience or willingness to train. Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial manufacturing or quality assurance inspection. High school diploma required; trade classes or a 2-year degree preferred. Pay for
