Job Description Salary: The Sales Director is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and overseeing the firms sales funnel from lead generation to client conversion. This person will work closely with the Sales Captain and Intake Captain to ensure a seamless, efficient, and high-performing sales operation. The Intake Team is responsible for converting potential leads into qualified leads, while the Sales Team is responsible for converting qualified leads into clients. The Sales Director will ensure that both teams are aligned, meeting performance expectations, and executing strategies that maximize conversion rates and revenue. This role requires a proven leader with expertise in sales operations, team management, and performance optimization. The ideal person has experience in legal services sales, particularly in an immigration law firm or a professional services setting, and should be ready to tackle any questions from daily operations for both intake and the sales team. Position Responsibilities : Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement sales strategies to optimize lead conversion and client acquisition. Ensure seamless coordination between the Intake Team (qualifying leads) and the Sales Team (closing clients). Set targets and quotas for both the Sales Manager and Intake Manager, ensuring accountability. Monitor the effectiveness of sales scripts, consultations, and follow-up sequences, making data-driven adjustments. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & Training Contribute in Developing, and later implement, and maintain comprehensive SOPs for both the Intake and Sales teams to ensure consistency and efficiency. Continuously update SOPs based on performance trends, client feedback, and process improvements. Create and maintain training guides, manuals, and checklists for new team members. Ensure new hires receive structured onboarding and training on all intake and sales processes. Regularly evaluate team performance and identify training needs, offering ongoing coaching and refresher sessions. Team Leadership & Development Directly manage the Sales Captain and Intake Captain, providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback. Oversee the Sales Consultants through the Sales Manager, ensuring consultation quality and conversion rates are on target. Oversee the Intake Team through the Intake Manager, ensuring they properly qualify leads and hand them over efficiently. Foster a high-performance culture by implementing sales training, role-play scenarios, and performance coaching. Ensure all sales representatives are trained in consultative selling techniques, negotiation, and client engagement. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Track conversion rates at each stage of the sales funnel and implement improvement strategies. Work closely with the CEO to analyze sales data and adjust tactics based on trends. Ensure accurate CRM data entry and reporting for transparency in performance tracking. Provide weekly and monthly sales reports with actionable insights for leadership. Identify roadblocks in the lead-to-client pipeline and implement solutions. Cross-Departmental Collaboration Align sales efforts with marketing initiatives to ensure consistent messaging and lead generation. Work with the Billing Team to verify the sales team provides accurate initial payments and finalized contracts for filing. Education: Mandatory Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Qualifications 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in a law firm or professional services. Proven experience managing sales teams. Experience working with CRM and lead management software. Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Familiarity with immigration law services is a plus. Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to sales. Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities to develop high-performing teams. Excellent negotiation and consultative selling skills. Ability to analyze sales data and make real-time adjustments to strategies. Proficiency in sales analytics tools, and reporting software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams. Highly adaptable in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
