SUMMARY Coordinates movement of parts and production orders throughout the shop floor, and the distribution of dispatch lists as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
include the following.
· Distributes hard-copies of daily dispatch lists as required. · Moves all parts and production orders throughout the shop in accordance with their respective routings by delivering them to the next work center listed on each production order. · Identifies anomalies and makes every effort to solve issues (missing parts, missing paperwork, misplaced orders, etc.). · Supports other PC functions (such as locating and stamping expedited orders, orders that are in need of a revision, orders that need to be cancelled, etc…). · Additional duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
including Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· High School Diploma or equivalent · Good organizational skills · Good communication skills · Ability to work independently · Competency using a personal computer · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite · Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system · Knowledge of BaaN Operating System a plus · Proven attendance record
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Must be fluent in English with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret a variety of materials, documents, etc. as required. Must be able to respond to inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Uses addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimals and fractions. Uses simple formulae, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules. Checks reports, forms, records and comparable data where interpretation is required involving basic skills knowledge.
REASONING ABILITY : Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, walk, hear, reach with hands and arms, stoop and bend. The employee must seldom lift and/or move more than 25 pounds
