Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist - Travel Position Location: Asheville, NC Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8s Pay: $2191/week
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The technologist will operate CT scanners, ensure patient safety and comfort, and produce high-quality images for accurate interpretation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Skills and Experience
Must Have: -Proficiency in all areas of CT imaging including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures -Experience with ED trauma and stroke imaging Preferred: -Experience with GE equipment -Invasive CT procedures -Cardiac imaging -Venipuncture
Typical Procedures
-Neuro imaging -Musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging -Body imaging -Invasive CT procedures -Cardiac imaging -Pediatric imaging
Personality Fit
-Team player who can also work independently -Self-motivated
Certifications and Dress Code
-Required: ARRT (R) certification, BLS certification, COVID vaccine, recent TB test -Dress Code: Black scrubs
Scheduling and On-Call
-Possible weekend shifts -Possible rotation to other shifts -Potential on-call requirement: approximately 12 hours per month
