We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to link our design team, clients, and contractors, ensuring our vision is executed precisely in the field.

The Construction Administrator plays a crucial role in overseeing the construction phase of our projects. You will represent the firm during construction, ensuring design intent is maintained, documentation is clear, and communication between all stakeholders is seamless.

Key Responsibilities: - Serve as primary liaison between the

architecture/design

team, contractors, consultants, and clients during construction. - Review submittals, RFI responses, and shop drawings for compliance with design intent. - Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality of work, and adherence to specifications. - Prepare and distribute field reports, meeting minutes, and punch lists. - Track project schedules and budgets during the construction phase. - Ensure code compliance, quality control, and timely resolution of project issues. - Support architects with clarifications, addenda, and change orders.

Qualifications: - 3+ years of construction administration experience in an architecture, engineering, or construction setting. - Strong understanding of building systems, materials, and construction processes. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications. - Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes in North Carolina. - Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam (ArchiCAD is a plus.) - A degree in architecture, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
