IT Project Management – Role Overview As an IT Project Manager at Vidoori, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of business-critical technology projects. Working directly with stakeholders, technical teams, and business analysts, you will ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities – IT Project Manager
Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects, from initiation and requirements gathering through to implementation and post-launch review. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and resource allocation. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal staff, third-party vendors, and client stakeholders, to ensure successful project outcomes. Apply best practices in project governance, change management, and quality assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle. Monitor and report project progress, using appropriate tools and performance metrics to ensure transparency and control. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences—including executives and end users—tailoring information as needed. Champion a collaborative, inclusive culture, resolving conflicts and fostering continuous improvement across project teams. Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that deliverables align with business objectives and compliance requirements. Essential Skills and Experience for IT Project Delivery
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. 10+ years of demonstrable experience managing mid-to-large scale IT projects in a professional environment. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or hybrid) and project tools (such as Jira, MS Project, or equivalent). Proven track record in delivering software, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects on time and within budget. Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and influence stakeholders at all levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in leading meetings, workshops, and status updates. Solid understanding of risk management, change control, and project governance processes. Professional project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
