We’re seeking a motivated, hands-on Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support our expanding Food & Beverage operation. Position Overview: The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will work closely with the F&B Manager to oversee daily operations of the clubhouse restaurant, bar, and events . This leadership role involves supervising staff, maintaining service standards, coordinating with the kitchen, and delivering exceptional service to our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily management of restaurant and bar operations
Supervise and train front-of-house staff to ensure efficient, positive service
Support the execution of member events, golf tournaments, and banquets
Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and support cost control efforts
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest service
Serve as acting manager when the F&B Manager is off-duty
Qualifications:
Previous experience in restaurant, banquet, or club F&B service preferred
Strong leadership skills and a team-first mindset
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Kansas Food Handlers Permit (or willingness to obtain)
Alcohol service certification (TIPS or equivalent) preferred
