Opportunity:
CT Technologist - CT Tech
Job Details:
• Work 3x9 hour shifts and 1x10 hour shift for a total of 37 hours per week
• Schedule options: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10p-7a, Saturday 9p-7a OR Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7p-7a
• On-call requirement: 3 days every 4 weeks with 30-minute response time
• Float between ER scanner and main department scanner
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Community hospital experience and adult acute care required
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, ARRT Advanced Cert
• Preferred certifications: ACLS
• Required skills: Adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, abdomen/pelvis with/without contrast, chest with/without contrast, head/neck with/without contrast
• Must perform contrast media preparation/administration, peripheral IV starts, venipuncture
• Special procedures: Brain perfusion, CT arthrography, myelography, aspirations and biopsies
• Equipment: PACS and Siemens required, McKesson system
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs
• Must complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week

The facility maintains state-of-the-art equipment including Siemens CT scanners and utilizes PACS technology for image management. The department provides 24/7 emergency imaging services and performs a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures including brain perfusion studies, CT arthrography, and image-guided biopsies.
