You will guide the design process from concept to execution, collaborating with design partners to evolve the Google design language and build products that people love to use. Playspace Labs is a cross-functional creative team exploring the implications of AI for Google\'s products and services, designing and developing solutions that integrate generative AI into Google Workspace to transform how individuals and teams work. AI will change the future of work in profound ways, and our products—including Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Meet, and more—are at the forefront. Craft the full spectrum of UX design artifacts from concept to detailed design development (e.g., concept sketches, detailed mockups, UX flows, interaction design). Collaborate with Playspace engineers to craft design solutions that leverage the tech platforms the team works with. Work with ambiguous problems and contribute to early product framing. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in product design or UX. Experience designing AI products and working with generative AI technology. Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions). Preferred qualifications

Master\'s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 12 years of experience in product design or UX. 5 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization. Experience with prototyping and using AI in daily workflows. Ability to design for emerging tech, new paradigms, and establish new principles and patterns. Compensation

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $178,000-$265,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay within the range is based on location and factors such as skills, experience, and education.
