Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years' experience and NYS Radiologic Technologist license for a contract opportunity. Responsibilities Work in a new hospital cardiac catheterization lab Duties include scrubbing-in for procedures, circulating in the room, and operating radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment Patient population includes cardiac and interventional cases Uses GE equipment and Mac Lab for charting Day shift, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Call required: one week every three weeks, after-hours Monday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday Responsible for scrubbing-in, circulating, and operating imaging equipment during cath lab procedures Must precept and support staff joining the cath lab team COVID-19 vaccine not required but proof of vaccination or declination must be provided per facility guidelines Requirements Minimum of 2 years cath lab experience required Current RCIS or ARRT certification required Certification and current registration in Cardiovascular (CV), Interventional Radiology (IR), or Vascular-Interventional Technology (VI) by ARRT required NYS Radiologic Technologist license required Current BLS certification required Experience with balloon pumps and conscious sedation training required Experience with GE equipment required Familiarity with Mac Lab documentation system required Must be able to take STEMI call License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID 031386.
