Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of Cath Lab and EP experience for weekday shifts and rotating on-call coverage. Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting Role includes floating to EP lab as needed Patient caseload varies with lab volume Procedures include PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella insertion, balloon pump, and EP monitoring, pacing, and burn Uses Siemens and GE equipment EMR systems include Epic and MAC Lab Shift is 5x8s, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Weekday and weekend on-call required; weekend on-call is Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM Hospital-issued scrubs are required Main responsibilities include performing and circulating for interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures Preferred experience includes scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring in all cases, tilt table study, cardioversion, vascular (carotid and peripherals), PFA and Watchman device procedures Team provides rotating on-call coverage for STEMI and EP emergencies All RTO must be requested at time of submission, and only 7 days or less of non-holiday RTO is allowed without special approval Returning travelers or staff must be separated from the system for one year before returning Module completion pre-start is required for onboarding Free parking available During hurricane season (June–November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in Cath Lab and EP lab Experience monitoring, pacing, burning in EP lab and circulating in Cath Lab Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications ARRT(R) with SCRQSA(R) or CCI(RCIS) with SCRQSA required Radiation badge must be provided by the traveler’s agency Epic charting experience preferred SSN and Driver’s License required for consideration First-time travelers accepted if all requirements are met Candidates must live within 30 minutes of facility for timely STEMI on-call response Locals not accepted; must live more than 60 miles from the facility License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID 2983103.
