Obtain orders and accurately pick, pack, and label products for shipment. Coordinate with carriers:
Arrange for carrier pickups and prepare necessary shipping documents, such as bills of lading and packing slips. Track shipments:
Monitor and update the status of outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery. Operate equipment:
Use equipment like forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload goods. Manage inventory:
Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock records. Maintain a safe and organized workspace:
Keep the shipping area clean and adhere to all health and safety regulations. Inspect products:
Verify the contents and quality of products before they are shipped. Handle documentation:
Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and complete, logging information into warehouse management systems. Communicate with teams:
Collaborate with customer service, logistics, and other warehouse teams to resolve any issues and improve processes. Skills and qualifications: Organizational skills:
Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and proper documentation. Communication:
Good written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with team members, carriers, and supervisors. Technical proficiency:
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and RF scanners. Experience:
