Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of interventional Cath Lab experience and current certifications including BLS, ACLS, and RCES, CRT, or RCIS. Responsibilities Position is in an interventional cardiac catheterization lab Supports cardiologists, radiologists, and RNs during a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures Provides care for adult patients undergoing interventional and structural heart procedures Day shifts are 4x10s with start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, ending between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM Rotating night and weekend call is required Travelers may float to other system locations as needed Epic EMR experience is preferred Responsible for technical execution, patient monitoring, and support during cardiac and vascular procedures Must demonstrate strong patient assessment, monitoring, and communication skills May mentor and train students in the Cath Lab Only one holiday request off will be approved during the assignment Candidates must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing Return staff must be gone for at least one year before returning as a traveler 50-mile radius rule applies to travel status eligibility Locals are accepted at the local rate Requirements Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certification required One of the following credentials required: RCES, CRT, or RCIS Active and valid California license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of recent interventional Cath Lab experience is required Structural heart procedure experience is preferred Copy of certifications required for consideration Epic charting experience preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID 3017997.
