Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT or RCIS certification, strong cardiac and vascular procedure skills, and required call availability. Responsibilities Work in a cardiac catheterization lab focused on heart and leg procedures as well as device insertions Monday through Friday day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Call requirement includes one full weekend (Friday to Sunday) and at least five weekdays per month, totaling a minimum of eight call days monthly Technologists are expected to perform scrub, pan, and closure roles for all cardiac and peripheral vascular cases Procedures include pacemaker and ICD insertions, along with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular cases IR and EP lab experience is preferred but on-the-job training is offered Role involves comprehensive support for cardiac and vascular interventions, including device placements and closures On-call coverage requires flexibility for both weekends and weekday shifts IR and EP experience is valued, and additional training can be provided Travel experience is highly preferred Candidates living within 110 miles of the facility are not eligible Certifications and required documents must be provided for consideration Requirements Current ARRT with state license or RCIS required; license required if applicable Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must have experience with cardiac cath lab scrub, pan, and closure for heart and leg procedures, plus device insertions Two recent supervisor references required from within the last three years Clinician must be prepared to complete any required lab work within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID 3002346.
