Administrative & HR Coordinator - Japanese Bilingual
Location: El Segundo, CA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Full-Time, Non-Exempt / Direct Hire
Salary: $55,000 - $67,000/year (DOE)
About the Role
Japanese company is seeking a bilingual (Japanese-English) Administrative & HR Coordinator to support its U.S. office. This position covers a variety of back-office tasks including administration, HR, accounting support, and logistics coordination. Ideal for someone proactive, flexible, and comfortable working in a small office setting.
What You'll Do Manage daily office operations (supplies, vendors, facilities) Support HR tasks: onboarding, timesheets, employee support, insurance correspondence Coordinate shipments and inventory with logistics team Assist with basic accounting tasks and liaise with Japan HQ/local accountant Provide support to Japan expats (interpretation, logistics, travel, scheduling) Contribute to cross-functional projects and events What We're Looking For 2-3 years of admin/back-office experience (internships considered) Japanese and English bilingual (business level) Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills Self-motivated and responsible, able to work independently Interest in Japanese corporate culture Benefits Paid vacation & holidays 401(k) Health, dental, vision insurance PC & cell phone provided Flexible hours & hybrid schedule
