Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT certification, TAVR experience, and strong EP Lab skills for a day shift assignment. Responsibilities Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab setting Primary responsibilities include operation of fluoroscopy in the Cardiac Cath Lab Four 10-hour day shifts per week (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) Call required: weeknights (6:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and one full weekend per month (Friday 6:00 PM - Monday 7:30 AM) Cath Lab staff may float within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals as needed May be cross-trained to support EP procedures and assist in TAVR and TMVR procedures in the hybrid OR Uses Epic charting system; Epic experience is required Duties include monitoring and scrubbing procedures, department development projects, and managing supplies and equipment Cross-training to Electrophysiology procedures and hybrid OR support may occur Return staff must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler Locals are accepted at the same rate with no mile radius requirement References must come from direct supervisors and not charge RNs Requested time off must be submitted up front and limited to two weeks No weekend day shifts required, only call, and call refusal is grounds for contract cancellation Completion of required pre-start modules and submission of key documentation is necessary Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required Current ARRT credential and Oregon OBMI license required Active BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required TAVR experience required Strong EP Lab experience required Epic EMR experience required PALS and pediatric experience preferred but not required Two manager or supervisor references from the last 24 months required for consideration COVID vaccination required with no exemptions License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID 3003497.
