Job Description
Andromeda Advantage Inc. is looking for a talented bilingual (Spanish) Receptionist to join our Facilities department. As the Receptionist you will work with internal first line support to our staff in the New York studio. The responsibilities include creating a positive first impression to our vendors, answering calls, and greeting visitors.
To succeed in this role you do not need a lot of previous work experience, but you do need to have experience in customer service and have a true passion for it!
Main responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate party
- Takes phone messages and relays to appropriate party via email
- Send Faxes as needed. Forward received faxemails via email
- Schedule GetGo/FedEx/UPS as requested
- Create mailing labels as requested
- Collect and distribute daily mail
- Process certified mail as requested and outgoing mail
- Distribute subcontractor and vendor checks. (Subcontractor is to sign any waivers and sub contracts before check distribution)
- Collect all incoming checks via USPS, FedEx, or GetGo (All checks must be logged in the check log book)
- Manage front desk email and send companywide emails as requested
- File requisition FedEx confirmation in appropriate studio file

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to maintain a stationary position, ascend/descend and traverse. The position also requires frequent use of computers and other office productivity machinery. At times, duties may involve transporting items of appx. 25 pounds and working around outdoor weather conditions. The position is expected to require prolonged periods of communication, perceiving, and expressing oneself.

Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in office administration or related field preferred.
- At least three years of administrative and clerical experience required.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Spanish language competence strongly preferred
