Help Desk Technician
ActioNet is hiring a Help Desk Technician in Falls Church, VA. This position requires a Secret clearance. Primary Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1 Help Desk support, serving as the first point of contact for end users at HQ. Respond to incidents, service requests, and trouble tickets via ServiceNow or other approved systems. Support end-user devices (EUDs), including setup, imaging, deployment, and configuration using SCCM task sequences. Assist with hardware/software installations, printer mapping, and peripheral support. Troubleshoot and resolve routine user issues with operating systems, applications, and connectivity. Escalate unresolved issues to Senior Help Desk Technicians or higher-tier support as needed. Ensure end-user devices remain compliant with STIGs, security baselines, and IAVM alerts. Assist with onboarding/offboarding of users, including processing SAAR-N (DD2875) forms and virtual Check-In/Check-Out procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and user support activities. Provide customer-focused service with professionalism, courtesy, and clear communication. Required Job Experience
13 years of experience in Help Desk or End User Support roles in enterprise or DoD environments. Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking. Familiarity with ServiceNow or other IT service management (ITSM) ticketing systems. Basic understanding of DoD IT environments, RMF, and cybersecurity compliance. Strong communication and troubleshooting skills. Degree
Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Certification
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level I or II certification (e.g., A+, Network+, or Security+). HDI Support Center Analyst certification. Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
