Overview Business Intelligence Analyst — Rolling Contract
Our Fortune 75 Telecom Client is looking for a BI Analyst III to support their Business Intelligence (BI) team. This team is dedicated to ensuring the quality of service for their customers and managing outage data and is responsible for reporting on incoming data, documenting it accurately, and positioning the information correctly for various internal teams. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BI, data analysis, and experience with end-to-end support, with the ability to work independently and take accountability for their tasks.
Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance Business Intelligence solutions to measure customer satisfaction through the “Imperial Score.”
Analyze score results to identify deficiencies and provide actionable insights to improve business processes.
Gather, document, and translate functional and technical requirements from diverse stakeholders.
Write stored procedures, prototypes, test cases, and execute/document test results to validate solutions.
Partner with cross-functional teams including analysts, developers, and project managers to deliver end-to-end BI solutions.
Communicate findings and technical concepts clearly to both business stakeholders and technical teams.
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Contribute to the team’s roadmap and full project lifecycle, working across multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Operate in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where priorities shift based on critical business needs.
Requirements Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience writing stored procedures.
Strong hands-on experience with BI tools (familiarity with MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, AWS Redshift a plus).
Proven ability to gather and articulate both functional and technical requirements.
Experience building prototypes, test cases, and delivering data-driven solutions end-to-end.
Strong analytical skills and critical thinking ability to uncover business insights.
Exceptional communication, ability to convey complex data concepts to large groups and stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, organize/prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects.
Ability to understand complex business processes and become a subject matter expert in assigned domains.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentations.
Preferred: Dashboarding experience and exposure to AWS or other modern cloud data platforms.
