Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr
The Analyst, Data & Analytics will help drive efforts to expand the use of data to support increased return on investment and profitable growth. The Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders and leverage technical skills to build data sets and conduct analyses that inform decision-making. This role will focus on developing SQL-based data sets and using Tableau to visualize insights and support strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
Apply analytics, data visualization, and data modeling techniques to support business decision-making.
Use SQL to develop and optimize data sets for analysis.
Query and analyze data using Tableau; perform data quality reviews.
Rapidly prototype Tableau dashboards and collaborate with IT for enterprise deployment.
Apply advanced analytics and data science methods to generate strategic recommendations.
Build strong partnerships across business units to integrate data insights into operational processes.
Identify underutilized data opportunities and develop action plans to increase business value.
Sample projects include forecasting asset demand and optimizing equipment sourcing strategies.
Serve as a point of contact for data and analytics inquiries across various corporate departments.
Support data exploration and testing to align with defined business objectives.
Collaborate with business leads to assess risks associated with data use.
Partner with business leads to define requirements, develop work scopes, and evaluate feasibility.
Manage user acceptance testing and ensure alignment with departmental goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, or a related analytical discipline.
2–4 years of progressive experience in data analysis and/or data science.
Proficient in writing optimized SQL queries and stored procedures
Strong competency in Tableau
Proficient in Excel
Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders across departments
Strong business acumen
Analytical mindset with familiarity in relevant technology tools
Experience with BI system administration (a plus)
