We are looking for someone energetic and passionate about working with kids to join the team as an After Care Site Director for the 2025-2026 school year at Waterloo Elementary School in Atwater, OH.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt PAY: $20.00 per hour

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensuring Compliance: Make certain that both staff and programs follow OCFS regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and the guidelines of our partnering school. Making it Fun: Lead hands-on, exciting activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academics, the arts, and more. Youll also support kids with their homework becoming their go-to homework hero! Running the Show: Handle key administrative duties such as keeping attendance and registration accurate, and ensuring proper staffing to maintain smooth daily operations. Keeping Parents in the Know: Maintain strong communication with families through the Playground App to keep them updated and engaged. Working as a Team: Stay in regular contact with your direct supervisor to keep them informed about daily events, updates, or concerns. A strong team approach allows us to deliver top-quality care, create a positive environment, and proactively address any issues.

REQUIREMENTS Basic Qualifications: A ll applicants must: Be at least 20 years old. Hold a High School Diploma, GED, or recognized equivalent from a qualifying institution. Provide documentation of a negative TB test and immunization records.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE OPTIONS:
Each candidate must meet one of the following:

Associate degree or higher in child development, early childhood education, or a related field approved by ODJFS, from an accredited institution. No experience required. Active prekindergarten associate license issued by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). No experience necessary. Current infant/toddler or early childhood credential from a Montessori-accredited program. No experience needed. Two years of training (including four or more child development or ECE courses) from an accredited college or technical school. Experience not required. Valid Ohio administrator credential recognized by ODJFS. No experience necessary. Valid Ohio school-age administrator professional endorsement (for school-age-only programs). No experience necessary. Career Pathways Level 3 (OCCRRA). Experience not required. Career Pathways Level 2 (OCCRRA) plus two years of experience in a licensed child care role. Career Pathways Level 1 (OCCRRA) must achieve Level 2 within one year. Requires two years of child care experience in a licensed program. Completion of at least four early childhood education or child development courses from an accredited college/technical school, plus two years of licensed child care experience. Valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential from the Council for Professional Recognition, with two years of relevant experience in licensed care.
