Construction Project Manager (Civil Engineer or Architect)
Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time, In-Office & On-Site
Salary: $100,000 $150,000 per year
Are you a Civil Engineer or Architect with proven experience leading general construction projects? Join a growing WBE-certified General Contractor and take charge of public infrastructure projects across NYC and NJ. Were seeking a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering quality work on time and on budget.
What Youll Do
Own the Project Lifecycle: Manage all phases from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout.
Lead the Team: Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to keep projects running smoothly.
Be Technical & Tactical: Leverage AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, and Kahua to manage schedules, budgets, and compliance.
Stay Visible: Conduct regular site visits, troubleshoot issues quickly, and ensure adherence to plans.
Communicate with Impact: Provide clear updates and progress reports to clients and leadership.
What You Bring
Experience:
5+ years as a Project Manager with a General Contractor.
3+ years managing NY/NJ public projects (NYCSCA experience preferred).
Education:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
Certifications & Skills:
OSHA 10 & 30 (40 hrs total) and SST 62.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, and Kahua.
Ability to read blueprints, perform estimating, and complete take-offs.
