ALLIED-CST-Certified Surgical Tech (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies.
Ensure sterile environment by maintaining and monitoring surgical instruments.
Contribute to a high-performance culture by achieving individual and team targets.
Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies before surgery.
Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes.
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Stay updated with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Participate in post-operative procedures and patient care as required.
Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
Provide feedback on surgical processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Monitor and report on surgical inventory and restock as needed.
Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.
Experience/Qualifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical environment.
Proven track record of achieving individual and team performance targets.
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
Proficient in maintaining sterile techniques and surgical instruments.
Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration.
Experience in documenting surgical procedures and maintaining patient records.
Ability to adapt to new surgical techniques and technologies.
Familiarity with hospital policies and compliance procedures.
Ability to manage surgical inventory and ensure timely restocking.
